Chocolaterie RG – A 100% Luxembourgish Chocolate Immersion
Located in the heart of Dudelange, Chocolaterie RG is much more than a traditional chocolate workshop — it is a complete tourist experience. Founded in 2023, it was born from a simple yet ambitious dream: to help people discover Luxembourg through chocolate.
Our concept is rooted in a strong belief: chocolate can be a powerful vehicle for cultural discovery, artisanal knowledge-sharing, and emotional tourism. That’s why we created a lively, open space where visitors can not only taste, but also understand, create, and leave with a unique, handmade souvenir.

Workshops – Experience Chocolate First-Hand
A cornerstone of our project is the organization of public chocolate workshops. Offered in French, Luxembourgish, and English, these workshops are open to all audiences — adults, children, school groups, and individual tourists.
Under the guidance of an experienced chocolatier, participants learn to:
• temper, mold, fill, and decorate their own creations,
• make pralines, chocolate bars, and molded figures,
• design pieces inspired by Luxembourgish symbols (Gëlle Fra, skylines, castles),
• enjoy formats adapted for tour groups and corporate events.
Each workshop is designed as a hands-on immersive experience, blending creativity, enjoyment, and sensory discovery.

Local, Ethical, and Transparent Production
All of our products are crafted entirely on site in Dudelange, in a workshop that is visible from our boutique. Our philosophy is based on:
• small-batch artisanal production,
• the use of high-quality raw ingredients, including directly sourced cocoa (notably from Madagascar),
• collaboration with local Luxembourgish suppliers (for packaging, secondary ingredients, printing, etc.),
• uncompromising recipes, with flavor quality at the heart of every creation.
We also made a clear decision not to outsource production, to ensure full traceability and maintain a close relationship with our customers.

A Tourist Experience in Its Own Right
Our chocolaterie is designed to welcome visitors like a living chocolate museum. Every detail encourages discovery:
• a visible chocolate laboratory,
• educational displays explaining the stages of production,
• QR codes on packaging with stories about origins and techniques,
• a sensory-based approach: smell, taste, touch, create.
We regularly collaborate with schools and corporate groups to offer combined experiences (workshop + local discovery in Dudelange). This way, we promote local heritage through the lens of chocolate, helping boost the attractiveness of southern Luxembourg for tourists.

A Brand on the Rise
Since its creation, Chocolaterie RG has continued to attract a growing audience:
• Over 1,200 workshop participants in 2024,
• Clients from more than 15 different countries,
• Partnerships with hotels, community events, and cultural institutions.
In 2025, we are launching a new line of custom tourism-oriented products, including a collectible series of chocolate bars representing the different regions of Luxembourg.

Chocolaterie RG is not a franchise, nor part of a large corporation. It is the passion project of a young artisan chocolatier, Gabriel, who set out to combine craftsmanship, knowledge-sharing, and warm hospitality. Every customer, every tourist is welcomed like a personal guest.
