OPEN AIR RESTAURANT in Mondorf-les-Bains
During this gastronomic day, which takes place on the first Sunday in July in Mondorf-les-Bains, restaurateurs, pastry chefs, winegrowers, etc. (mainly local) have the opportunity to prepare small tasting dishes in individual chalets and showcase their expertise.
As well as promoting local businesses, Luxembourg’s top chefs of international renown are delighted to unveil the art of haute cuisine in show-cookings throughout the day. At the 2024 event, students from the hotel school, under the aegis of a top chef, were on hand to proudly showcase what they have already learned.
Under a large pavilion housing beautiful tables carefully covered with tablecloths and decorated with floral arrangements, visitors can come and spoil their taste buds with a wide variety of small dishes presented on porcelain plates. The event is accompanied by moderators and musical entertainment.
