Guided Bike Tours in Luxembourg: Excellence, Innovation and Discovery
Discover Luxembourg in a different way thanks to our guided bike tours, combining excellence, social innovation and cultural immersion.
For more than 15 years, Vélosophie has been devising and accompanying fair trade and social cycling tours through the city and country of Luxembourg. We regularly develop new themed itineraries to offer a lively, committed and accessible way of discovering our country.
Each of our routes aims to tell a different story about the city or the country, through the prism of ecology, heritage and the solidarity economy.
Our guided bike tours offer much more than a simple tourist discovery: they embody an approach to excellence and social innovation, based on human support and local commitment.
The innovation of our cycle tours is evident in our ground-breaking social approach, which puts people at the heart of the experience, while guaranteeing a high-quality service. In this way, each tour becomes a moment of exchange, sharing and discovery, which goes beyond the simple ride to become a real lever for positive impact.
Among the highlights, discover innovative social projects that work towards cohesion and inclusion. Our tours include visits to these initiatives, enabling you to meet the people involved on the ground, understand their impact and support their work. Whether it’s a shared garden, a social integration workshop, an organic farm or a community centre, each visit enriches your experience by giving meaning to your discovery.
This innovative, community-based approach is supported by professional guidance.
Led by committed guides who are experts in the area and sensitive to social issues, these tours offer much more than just a stroll: they are a real opportunity to exchange ideas, share experiences and make responsible discoveries. Our guides pass on their stories, know-how and values for a rich and authentic human experience.
When you choose our guided cycling tours in Luxembourg, you get a complete experience where excellence and innovation go hand in hand with respect for the area and social impact. A unique adventure that combines the pleasure of discovery, authentic encounters and support for local initiatives.
In a constantly changing business world, innovation and well-being have become essential pillars for building a sustainable and committed company. It’s with this in mind that we’re looking to incorporate new ideas into our cycling projects, combining physical activity, team spirit and respect for the environment. It also opens the door to other sustainable initiatives around active mobility, local tourism and the circular economy.
At Vélosophie, we develop original themed tours throughout the year, covering a variety of subjects such as :
– The gardens and parks of our city
– Taste the real Luxemburg (gourmet cycling tour of Luxembourg: nature and local flavours)
– The industrial heritage of Esch-sur-Alzette
– The challenges of ecological transition in an urban environment
As part of this, we are presenting a new, innovative and meaningful project:
“In the footsteps of the women of Luxembourg”, an urban cycle ride designed to highlight the women who have helped to shape Luxembourg society, but who all too often remain absent from official accounts and the public arena.
“Following in the footsteps of the women of Luxembourg” is a continuation of our work:
A feminist, cultural and civic route
This original tour takes participants on a journey of discovery of outstanding female figures – artists, resistance fighters, educators, politicians, intellectuals, activists – through symbolic places in the city: statues, buildings, institutions, streets named after them or sites of remembrance.
At each stop, educational content accompanies the visit, encouraging a sensitive and memorable immersion.
This new feministe route is the latest addition to our catalogue of committed itineraries, with the aim of making it a regular feature.
Through this project, Vélosophie is continuing to make cycling a tool for storytelling, social justice and urban transformation.
We are convinced that “In the footsteps of the women of Luxembourg” will resonate strongly with the public, while living up to the values of the competition: innovation, social impact and cultural commitment.
