Description

This project consists of a 360° video tour of the thirteen most important points on the didactic path surrounding and inside the Useldange castle. The video is shown during specific guided tours. In a future step, we are planning to make the video available on the of the municipal website and the website of the Tourist Information Atert-Wark.

The goal for this project was to make the castle more accessible to people with reduced mobility. Parts of the castle, such as the two towers, are unfortunately not accessible for people in wheelchairs and there is no elevator for people who may not be able to climb a lot of stairs. In an effort to solve this issue and create the best experience for those people, we determined the thirteen highlights of the didactic path and castle. Filmed in collaboration with Crossfire Agency, we thus created this tour video which is shown on the screen in the crypt, which is accessible for everyone through elevators.

Unfortunately, we only created this project in November of 2020 during lockdown, so we have not had the chance to gather many results. We are expecting to receive positive feedback though, as the project should make the castle more accessible to the elderly and people with reduced mobility.
